Top WOTLK the Nexus Guide – Wrath of the Lich King Strategy & Leveling Guides

There are a lot of reasons to be excited over World of Warcraft’s latest expansion, Wrath of the Lich King. With leaks about a new hero class (Death Knights), a new World PvP gamestyle (Lake Wintergrasp) and a new reputation-gaining feature (Championing), the game has all the MMORPG lovers out there talking. However, it’s not just these new additions that are making everyone go gaga. The old and time-tested favorites are still in the new expansion, including dungeons, which are definitely one of the best gamestyles of the game. One of the best dungeons that players can participate in is called The Nexus. Below are some facts about this dungeon that might just help you plan your gamestyle once you have the expansion in your hands. I only wish you happy gaming!

The Facts:

The Nexus is a dungeon with a player limit of 5 up to 25 players. There will actually two available 5 player dungeons and one Raid, whose end boss is no other than the Blue Dragonflight Aspect himself, Malygos. Below are details about the different instances and the Raid:

* Ice Caverns – a 5 player instance, this is for players with levels 71 up to 73.

* The Oculus, also known as Magical Rings – a 5 player instance for players with a Level 80 rank.

* The Eye of Eternity – this is the dungeon’s raid wing, where players will be facing Malygos as the final boss.

To get to this dungeon, all you have to do is head to one of Northrend’s regions called the Borean Tundra. Since this is one of the game’s entry points, it should be easy. Once there, just look for an old fortress of ice found in Coldarra, the Borean Tundra’s center. You’ll know you’re there if you see a towering column of blue-white energy reaching up to the sky. Surrounding it are floating earthen rings. To get to Coldarra itself, go to the Amber Ledge where a dragon will give you a ride to Coldarra. Look for a rift in the ground and go down. Once you see Arcane Serpents, then you’ve arrived.

The details of the first instance known as The Nexus or Ice Caverns has also been released. For those who are interested in playing it (everyone, I’,m sure), let me just tell you that the dungeon has a very wide area. However, difficulty comes when you have to kill three other bosses before finally getting to the last boss. If you communicate well with your team and you have a strategy planned before diving in into the game, then this one should be a piece of cake. But if all of you are just hot for action, then expect your butts to get kicked.
